The 38th International Modal Analysis Conference (IMAC) was held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando from February 10 to February 13, 2020.
IMAC is organized every year by the Society of Engineering Mechanics (SEM) and is one of the main conferences in the structural dynamics community, including specialists from the aerospace, mechanical, and civil engineering fields. IMAC brings together people from academia, industry, government agencies, and exhibitors.
In this version of IMAC, three papers of our research group were presented:
- “Output-only nonlinear finite element model updating using autoregressive process” by Castiglione, J. (UANDES), Astroza, R. (UANDES), Eftekhar Azam, S. (U. Nebraska-Lincoln), and Linzell, D. (U. Nebraska-Lincoln)
- “Adaptive unscented Kalman filter for nonlinear model updating and estimation of modeling errors”, by Song, M. (Tufts U.), Astroza, R. (UANDES), Ebrahimian, H. (U. Nevada-Reno), Moaveni, B. (Tufts U.), and Papadimitriou, C. (U. of Thessaly)
- “Bayesian nonlinear finite element model updating of a full-scale bridge-column using sequential Monte Carlo” by Ramancha, M.K. (UC San Diego), Astroza, R. (UANDES), Conte, J.P. (UC San Diego), Restrepo, J.I. (UC San Diego), and Todd, M.D. (UC San Diego)
